Drive exploratory research at the intersection of AI and optimisation within ARC Training Centre OPTIMA.
🛠️

Developing optimisation tools

Develop, test and maintain open-source optimisation tools, integrating AI methods, instance space analysis and MiniZinc where appropriate.
📚

Publishing research

Publish high quality journal and conference papers, and present research at seminars, conferences and industry engagements.

Key criteria

🎓

PhD in relevant field

Hold or nearing completion of a PhD in applied mathematics, statistics, or related discipline.

Proven knowledge of AI tools, including machine learning and generative AI.

Research publication record

Demonstrated excellence in research with quality publications in optimisation.
