About the job

This job is an exciting opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students to gain hands-on experience as a Paralegal within the ABC’s Disputes & Litigation team. Working closely with experienced media lawyers, you will develop your legal skills while contributing to meaningful projects. The ABC fosters a supportive and inclusive environment, prioritising your growth and perspective as you embark on this journey.

You'll be responsible for

Supporting legal research

Conducting legal research and assisting in case preparation and litigation processes.

Assisting on media law matters

Providing support on various media law issues, including defamation and intellectual property.

Drafting legal documents

Creating correspondence, legal summaries, and internal guidance materials as needed.
