About the job

The Payroll Specialist is an essential accounting job that reports directly to the Marriott Australia Director of National Payroll. This position is responsible for the end-to-end, timely processing of payroll, including employee benefits such as superannuation and leave, payment obligations for participating properties, and month-end activities. The team values high service levels and collaboration, ensuring that all properties receive the support they need, especially in the absence of key leaders.

You'll be responsible for

Processing payroll

Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintaining payroll records

Maintaining employee payroll records, including salary changes, allowances, deductions, and compliance with relevant laws.
📞

Responding to queries

Responding promptly to employee payroll queries and providing support during audits and payroll-related activities.

Payroll processing experience

1+ years of experience managing end-to-end payroll processes.
