You'll be responsible for

Supporting the Data Protection Officer

Support the Data Protection Officer to ensure ING meets its obligations under the Privacy Act, APPs, GDPR (where applicable), and ING’s global policies.
📞

Advising on privacy queries

Act as a key point of contact for privacy queries across Retail, Business Banking, Wholesale, Technology and Operations teams.

Conducting privacy assessments

Challenge and review personal data processing activities, including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), outsourcing risk assessments, and data retention practices.

Key criteria

🔍

3–5 years of privacy compliance experience

Demonstrated experience in data protection and privacy compliance.

Strong understanding of privacy laws

Proven knowledge of the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles.

Experience with privacy risk assessments

Background in conducting PIAs and managing data breaches.
