You'll be responsible for

Supporting the Data Protection Officer

Support the Data Protection Officer to ensure ING meets its obligations under the Privacy Act, APPs, GDPR (where applicable), and ING’s global policies.

Acting as a key point of contact

Act as a key point of contact for privacy queries across Retail, Business Banking, Wholesale, Technology and Operations teams.

Providing expert advice

Provide expert advice on individual rights requests, complex customer complaints, and matters escalated to regulators or external dispute bodies.

Key criteria

🔍

Privacy compliance experience

3–5 years of experience in privacy compliance or data protection.

Understanding of privacy laws

Strong knowledge of the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles.

Experience with risk assessments

Proven experience conducting privacy risk assessments and PIAs.
