The job is about joining Education Perfect as a Product Designer for a 12-month fixed-term contract, where you will shape experiences that genuinely matter for teachers and students. You'll be responsible for

Advocating for the end user

Deeply understanding Essential Assessment customers’ needs, perspectives, and goals by visiting schools and talking to customers regularly, getting involved in research initiatives, and running evaluative testing.
🎨

Designing solutions across the product experience

Collaborating with key stakeholders to balance customer problems with business goals and technical constraints, utilizing design skills across research, user experience, interaction, and visual design.
🛠️

Working closely with engineers

Providing clear and detailed documentation, including user flows, interactive prototypes, and wireframes, while helping resolve usability issues that arise during development.

Skills you'll need

User research

Experience and confidence in independently conducting user research using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Design systems

Developing a component library, establishing design guidelines and principles, and ensuring consistency across products.

Communication skills

A love of collaboration and the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and findings with other teammates and customers.
