The Product Development Manager is a pivotal job that leads the technical product development for Diageo Australia’s innovation and brand change agenda. This role is crucial for developing and commercialising products that resonate with consumers while ensuring they are technically robust and market-ready. The team thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for pushing boundaries to create exciting new experiences.

You'll be responsible for

🚀

Leading product development

Leading end-to-end liquid and packaging development across innovation, renovation, sustainability, cost optimisation and brand change projects, from concept and brief through to launch and post-launch review.
🔬

Owning technical development

Owning technical development activities including formulation, ingredient and material selection, packaging design, lab and line trials, sensory validation, stability testing, specification management, scale-up and first production support.

Ensuring brand integrity

Acting as the Product Development Owner for Bundaberg Rum, ensuring liquid and packaging decisions protect brand character, quality, consistency and consumer experience.
