This job involves providing professional prosecution services and legal advice to members of the Service regarding matters in Magistrates, Children's, and Coroners Courts. The Townsville Police Prosecution Corps is a dynamic team of over thirty members, including sworn and civilian prosecutors, all working together to achieve effective policing outcomes. Collaboration and high standards of performance are key to how the team operates.
You'll be responsible for

Providing prosecution services
Delivering prosecution services for the area of responsibility and representing the Service in court matters.📄
Monitoring briefs of evidence
Ensuring the highest quality of briefs is maintained by liaising with police.🔍
Contributing to legal research
