As a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Level 2 within the Steele Haughton Unit, you will have the incredible opportunity to deliver high-quality care to older adults facing acute mental health challenges. Your role is vital in fostering a supportive environment, collaborating with a dedicated Multidisciplinary Team, and mentoring both consumers and staff. You'll be responsible for

Administering prescribed medications

Providing medication information to consumers and their carers while ensuring compliance with NMBA standards.
🧑‍⚕️

Conducting mental state examinations

Performing psychosocial assessments and consumer interviews to evaluate mental health status.

Developing consumer-centred care plans

Collaborating with the Multidisciplinary Team to identify clinical risks and update care plans.

Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory.
