You'll be responsible for

Providing perioperative care

Delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care within the ophthalmology operating theatre, supporting surgical procedures and positive patient outcomes.

Maintaining sterile field

Ensuring a sterile field is maintained during surgical procedures, preparing and managing surgical instruments and equipment.

Patient education

Supporting patient education and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the team.

Key criteria

Ophthalmology experience

Proven experience in ophthalmology nursing and surgical procedures.

AHPRA registration

Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
