Preparing and setting up surgical instruments and specialised equipment for cardiac, vascular and thoracic procedures.

Performing safety checks

Performing preoperative safety checks and ensuring compliance with perioperative standards and protocols.

Providing scrub and scout support

Providing skilled scrub and scout support to the surgical team throughout procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key criteria

Registered Nurse certification

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

Scrub/scout nursing experience

Minimum one year of experience in cardiac and vascular procedures.
