About the job
This job is an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant at The Kids Research Institute Australia, focusing on the mental health and care pathways of trans young people, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth. Contributing to the Trans Pathways 2 study, the Research Assistant will engage with communities, support data collection, and collaborate with a dedicated team. You'll be responsible for

Reviewing ethics applications
Learning about the process for obtaining ethics approval from both an Aboriginal Human Research Ethics Committee and a university HREC.📣
Assisting with recruitment strategy
Supporting the development of a recruitment strategy to engage participants effectively.📞
Communicating with stakeholders
Consulting with researchers, stakeholders, and participants to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the study.Key criteria
📚
Undergraduate or master's degree
Currently enrolled in a relevant mental health or health science program.View
