About the job

The position of Research Assistant offers a unique opportunity to support the implementation of the Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy within the Children’s Diabetes Centre. By conducting impactful research projects, you will play a vital role in improving the mental health and wellbeing of children, adolescents, and young people living with Type 1 Diabetes and their families. The team values collaboration and inclusivity, creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

You'll be responsible for

🧠

Conducting research projects

Supporting the Mental Health and Wellbeing team to conduct research aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing of children and families living with T1D.
✍️

Preparing manuscripts

Contributing to the preparation of manuscripts for publication in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Scheduling visits

Scheduling visits in consultation with participants and other members of the research team.

Key criteria

🎓

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Possession of a degree in Science, Public Health, or related area.
