The Risk Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting MDAS’s risk management, child safety, and incident reporting processes. This position is essential for maintaining a strong risk-aware culture and ensuring that the organisation's risk management framework is effective and relevant. Collaboration with various teams is key, as the Risk Coordinator works closely with staff to embed risk analysis into decision-making and resource prioritisation.
You'll be responsible for

Managing risk
Maintaining strategic and operational risk registers, ensuring information is current and regularly reviewed, and supporting managers to identify, assess, and manage risks within their programs.🌱
Improving risk culture
Leading implementation of risk culture improvement initiatives, developing and delivering staff training on risk awareness, and promoting positive messaging that positions risk as an enabler of safe, high-quality service delivery.🧒
Supporting child safety
Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of Child Safe Standards, providing guidance and training on child safety responsibilities and incident reporting.Key criteria
