This job is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to join the Child Protection Unit at Westmead Children’s Hospital. The role is vital in supporting vulnerable children and families who have experienced abuse or neglect, working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team. You'll be responsible for

Providing crisis response
Delivering immediate support and intervention for children and families in crisis situations.🧠
Conducting psychosocial assessments
Performing complex assessments to understand the needs and circumstances of children and families.💬
Offering therapeutic counselling
Providing short and medium-term counselling to support recovery and well-being.What we're looking for
