The Senior Application Developer position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative support team within Queensland Shared Services. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing key platforms like ServiceNow, Springboard, and MyCareer, ensuring that they align with business needs while following agile, ITIL, and Software Development Lifecycle frameworks. The team values collaboration and innovation, working closely with technical experts and business analysts to deliver impactful solutions.

You'll be responsible for

Developing capability and leading a team

Develop capability, monitor team performance, mentor and lead a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators to deliver end to end platform maintenance, fixes and enhancements, based on organisation priorities.

Liaising with stakeholders

Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders to resolve incidents, identify problems, perform root cause analysis and propose solutions, including maintaining regular contact with Incident and Problem Managers.

Implementing updates and upgrades

Lead the implementation of updates and upgrades to the QSS ServiceNow system, critically assessing the required changes and impacts.
