The Associate/Principal Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineer position at SMEC offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of an industry-leading global engineering consultancy. You'll be responsible for

Providing leadership and collaboration

Provide leadership and proactively collaborate with Water Infrastructure team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables.
⚡

Designing electrical systems

Detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems with a focus on LV electrical systems including schematics, equipment layout, motor control centres and communications systems, SCADA, instrumentation and PLCs.

Creating technical reports

Provide technical reports and specifications for projects (design reports, functional descriptions, technical specifications).

Key criteria

⚡

Electrical engineering degree

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar required.

10+ years of experience

Proven experience in Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation Engineering.

Design software proficiency

Experience with design software like PowerCAD is preferred.
