The Senior Coordinator Communications is an exciting opportunity within Council’s Advocacy, Communications & Engagement department. This leadership job focuses on managing the strategic development and implementation of communications to enhance service excellence for the community. You'll be responsible for

Creating communication activities

Creating and continuously improving dynamic, creative and innovative communication activities and solutions including digital newsletters, videos, web content and social media to engage the community and staff.

Managing Council publications

Managing and overseeing the production of Council’s publications, advertising, reactive and proactive media, graphic design, printing services and media monitoring contracts, as well as organisation branding for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities and other vulnerable groups within the community.

Fostering team environment

Fostering an open, creative and high achieving team environment that supports Council’s organisational objectives and values, mentor and encourage staff to professionally develop and communicate to the highest level and meet all relevant customer experience targets.

Tertiary qualification in communications

Relevant degree or qualification in communications or related field.
