You'll be responsible for

Leading the financial accounting team
You will lead the Financial Accounting team and own the delivery of all Financial Accounting processes across Blackbird’s Australian and New Zealand entities.📅
Overseeing month-end processes
Oversee and action monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including inter-company recharges, balance sheet reconciliations, and analysis of key movements.⚙️
Implementing process improvements
Lead and embed the implementation of a number of initiatives, applications, tools and/or processes to streamline workflows and increase efficiency across the finance function.Key criteria

Accounting expertise
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.View

Taxation knowledge
Deep experience with GST, FBT, and income tax compliance in AU and NZ.View
