This job is an exciting opportunity for a Hydrology & Flooding Engineer to join the NSW Hydrology & Flooding Team in Sydney/Newcastle. You'll be responsible for

🔍

Conducting hydrological and hydraulic investigations

Perform detailed analyses to assess flood risks and develop effective engineering solutions for various projects.
🤝

Collaborating across disciplines

Work with internal and external teams to address technical queries and drive optimal engineering solutions.
⏳

Delivering flood modelling tasks

Ensure timely completion of flood modelling projects while adhering to budget and quality standards.

Key criteria

🎓

Civil or environmental engineering degree

Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering field.

5+ years flooding industry experience

Demonstrated experience in hydrology and flooding projects.

Proficiency in TUFLOW and GIS software

Experience with TUFLOW, RORB, QGIS, or similar tools.
