This job is about leading and influencing culturally responsive mental health care for Aboriginal communities in the Macarthur region. The Senior Principal Aboriginal Mental Health Worker plays a vital role in supporting team members and ensuring that cultural, social, and clinical needs are central to care planning. The team thrives on collaboration, mentorship, and a commitment to improving the wellbeing of Aboriginal individuals and families.

You'll be responsible for

Leading culturally responsive care

Providing leadership and support to ensure culturally responsive mental health care across the Macarthur region.

Mentoring team members

Mentoring and supporting Aboriginal Mental Health Workers and multidisciplinary clinicians to enhance their skills and wellbeing.

Building community partnerships

Establishing effective partnerships with community stakeholders to improve mental health outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Demonstrated connection to Aboriginal culture and communities.
