About the job

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building the next generation of the bank's customer data platform. Your expertise will drive the migration of our Data Platform from ECS to EKS, ensuring operational integrity and contributing to key design decisions. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will thrive in a flexible, hybrid work environment that values continuous learning and innovation.

You'll be responsible for

Designing platform components

Designing, building and managing Kubernetes-based platform components on AWS.

Improving developer workflows

Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.

Implementing best practices

Implementing best practices in observability, security, platform reliability and cost optimisation.

Skills you'll need

Cloud services expertise

Strong understanding of cloud services, architecture, and networking.

DevOps proficiency

Proficiency in DevOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
