You'll be responsible for

Understanding user needs

Deeply understand the needs and workflows of platform engineers and other consumers of the infrastructure platform at Canva.
🛠️

Developing tools and services

Write tools, services, configuration and whatever else is required to ensure that platform engineers have a low friction experience shipping new services and capabilities.
🤝

Consulting with internal users

Consult with internal users and other platform teams to bring clarity and alignment.

Skills you'll need

💻

Computer Engineering / Science knowledge

Strong knowledge around fundamentals and first principles relating to concurrency, multithreading, data structures, architecture, and various design patterns.
🐍

Programming languages

Strong experience with the Python and Go programming languages.
☸️

Kubernetes experience

Experience with Kubernetes, ideally including Custom Resource Definitions.
