You'll be responsible for

Understanding user needs
Deeply understanding the needs and workflows of platform engineers and other engineers developing internal capabilities and services, as well as broader users of the infrastructure platform at Canva.🛠️
Developing software patterns
Developing software patterns and archetypes that allow engineers to iterate quickly, integrating seamlessly with our software ecosystem and infrastructure platform.🤝
Consulting with internal users
Consulting with internal users and other platform teams to bring clarity and alignment.Key criteria

5+ years programming experience
Demonstrated experience with Java, Python, or Go.View
☁️
Kubernetes expertise
Proven experience with Kubernetes, including Custom Resource Definitions.View
🌩️
Cloud environment experience
Solid experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.View
