About the job

As a Senior Systems Engineer in the National Energy Analysis Centre (NEAC), you will have the exciting opportunity to apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support Australia’s energy transition. Your work will involve collaborating with a diverse team to develop analytical solutions that deliver impactful outcomes for government, industry, and communities. You'll be responsible for

Translating stakeholder perspectives

Translate multiple stakeholder perspectives into formal requirements in SysML.
🛠️

Developing SysML models

Develop SysML models of parts of the Australian energy system aligned with NEAC’s reference architecture and application priorities.
🤝

Collaborating with teams

Collaborate with NEAC leadership, CSIRO scientists, and the NEAC development team to create and deliver NEAC’s capability roadmap and project priorities.

Key criteria

📚

Degree in relevant field

University degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
