About the job

The Signal Electrician - Rail job at UGL Regional Linx is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Rail Operator in maintaining the safety of rail networks. This permanent position based in Orange, NSW, offers a chance to be part of a strong team culture while contributing to diverse and rewarding projects. Enjoy a flexible nine-day fortnight roster and the security of working on a long-term project contracted through to the first quarter of 2032.

You'll be responsible for

🔍

Conducting maintenance inspections

As a Signal Electrician - Rail, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance inspections and repairs as per UGLRL’s Technical Maintenance Plan.

Identifying and repairing faults

Identifying and repairing signal mechanical faults and attending failures to diagnose and correct signalling faults.
🤝

Supporting other business groups

Supporting other business groups to deliver their works effectively.

Key criteria

Cert IV in Electrical (Rail Signalling)

Certification required for Signal Electricians in rail operations.
