About the job

The Signalling Interface Manager - Projects plays a vital role in shaping the future of signalling at V/Line. This position is essential for ensuring that project works are designed, commissioned, and delivered to meet the long-term needs of signalling maintenance. Collaboration and communication are key, as you will work closely with various teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

You'll be responsible for

Project Interface & Technical Governance

Reviewing and endorsing project scope of works, design specifications, risk assessments, and safety-in-design documentation while providing technical advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensuring all works comply with V/Line’s safety standards, signalling regulations, and quality management processes, including conducting field audits during occupations.
🤝

Stakeholder Communication

Acting as the key interface with MPM works and State projects to ensure maintenance requirements, scope, and budgets are understood and accepted by all stakeholders.

Skills you'll need

Signal Maintenance Technician

Qualified Signal Maintenance Technician with extensive demonstrated experience in railway signalling systems design and maintenance.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and convey complex technical information clearly.

Risk Management

Demonstrated ability to identify risks, prevent non-conformances, and provide practical solutions to technical and safety-related issues.
