About the job

BMD is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to join their team in delivering the Palmer Wind Farm, a major renewable energy project located approximately 70km east of Adelaide. This job is crucial for generating up to 288MW of clean energy, enough to power more than 140,000 South Australian homes, and plays a significant role in the state’s energy transition. The team values collaboration and a proactive approach, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone involved in the project.

You'll be responsible for

⚡

Supporting delivery of HV/LV electrical packages

Support delivery of HV/LV electrical packages including substations, overhead lines, transformers and switch rooms to programme, quality and safety targets.
🔌

Coordinating installation of electrical equipment

Coordinate installation of HV/LV equipment, transformers, switchgear, protection systems and associated cabling.

Maintaining accurate site records

Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, ITPs and quality documentation for electrical installations.

Key criteria

⚡

Electrical engineering degree

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience with HV and LV electrical systems.
