About the job

As a Software Engineer 2 on the Performance Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the performance of MongoDB products. Your work will directly impact how effectively our engineering teams can deliver solutions to customers. Collaboration and a growth mindset are key, as you will work closely with performance-focused engineers and be supported by a team that values learning and development.

You'll be responsible for

Designing and implementing features

Design, implement, and test features and bug fixes in performance tooling and infrastructure, primarily using Python.
📊

Contributing to benchmarking

Contribute to performance workloads and benchmarking pipelines to evaluate MongoDB across releases and configurations.
🔧

Maintaining performance testing software

Maintain and improve existing performance testing software by refactoring code and enhancing developer experiences.

Key criteria

🎓

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Degree in Computer Science or related field is essential.
