The Principal Software Engineering Manager - Azure Storage position is all about leading a talented team to enhance service quality and improve the overall customer experience in the Azure Cloud. This job plays a crucial role in ensuring that Azure Storage, a foundational service for many of Microsoft’s largest online businesses, operates smoothly and efficiently, impacting millions of users worldwide. You'll be responsible for

Overseeing end-to-end scenario validation

Play a crucial role in product quality by overseeing end-to-end scenario validation integration work performed by team members.

Designing scalable cloud services

Design, develop, and operate scalable, low latency and high throughput cloud services and frameworks to stress storage backend.
🤝

Partnering with teams for quality assurance

Take an active role and partner with peer teams and external partners to ensure new storage features meet target availability, security, and reliability goals, with an emphasis on quality upstream.

Key criteria

💻

Technical engineering experience (2+ years)

Experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
