About the job

As a Forward Deployed Engineer in the Forward Deployed Engineering team, you will collaborate with clients on their big data challenges using the Databricks platform. This job is all about providing data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects that integrate with client systems, ensuring they maximize the value of their data. The team thrives on delivering excellent customer service while completing projects according to specifications.

You'll be responsible for

Working on impactful customer technical projects

You will work on a variety of impactful customer technical projects which may include building reference architectures, how-to's and production grade MVPs / Greenfield projects.

Guiding strategic customers

Guide strategic customers as they implement transformational big data projects, including end-to-end design, build and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications.

Providing escalated support

Provide an escalated level of support for customer operational issues.

Big data technologies experience

8+ years with Apache Spark™, Kafka, and Data Lakes.
