You'll be responsible for

Collaborating with engineers

Collaborating as part of a backend focused team of engineers to extend and scale out the backbone of Canva's Microservice landscape: the User Platform
⚙️

Managing high performance systems

Responsible for high performance systems to authenticate and manage users, avatars, groups and teams
🛠️

Designing new building blocks

Collaborating with the team to envision, design & plan, build and maintain new useful and reusable building blocks for the User Platform

High-performance Java backend systems experience

Strong background in designing and running Java backend systems.
