About the job

This job is about joining the Region Services team at AWS, where you will redefine how AWS designs, builds, and operates its regions. Your work will have a significant impact on enabling new AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Services offerings for a diverse range of customers. You'll be responsible for

Defining hardware requirements

Define and/or refine hardware requirements, participate in the development and delivery of operability-related features such as system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, and other self-healing automation
⚙️

Developing management tools

Develop or further existing application and system management tools and processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency
📈

Monitoring system health

Monitor the health of the fleet, automating system health, maintenance tasks, and reporting systems as needed

Key criteria

💻

3+ years of Linux experience

Proven experience with Linux command line and administration.

CI/CD pipeline operations

Experience with tools like Terraform and Jenkins.

Network fundamentals knowledge

Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and routing.
