Ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are ready and available for surgical procedures, contributing to a smooth operation.

Assisting with patient procedures

Providing support during various patient procedures, including spinal/epidural anaesthesia and pre-operative preparations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Maintaining communication with the multidisciplinary team

Fostering strong relationships and effective communication with other staff in the theatre complex to promote teamwork and collaboration.

Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance

Completion of Certificate IV in Theatre Support is essential.
