This job is about joining Alstom as a Trade Assistant, where you will play a vital role in maintaining Velocity DMUs at the Ballarat site. Your contributions will help ensure the safe and efficient transport of passengers throughout regional Victoria. You'll be responsible for

Assisting with maintenance tasks

Carrying out a range of general support tasks to assist with the servicing, testing, repair, overhaul or modification of Velocity and its various components.

General housekeeping duties

Carrying out general housekeeping duties required by the supervisor or the tradesperson they are assisting.

Ensuring fleet efficiency

Ensuring that the fleet is running efficiently, safely, and that we are abiding by relevant industry standards.

Experience in rail car maintenance

Demonstrated experience maintaining rail vehicles and components.
