About the job

As a Trust Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial control, reporting, and regulatory compliance of trust accounts across Australia. This job is essential for ensuring that all trust-related transactions and reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external auditors, and regulators, fostering a culture of compliance and financial integrity.

You'll be responsible for

Managing trust account transactions

Daily management of trust account transactions using JDE, MRI & Multi‑Array, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Preparing monthly bank reconciliations

Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for Licensee approval, maintaining financial integrity and transparency.

Coordinating annual trust account audits

Coordination and management of annual trust account audits, liaising with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

Key criteria

📊

Trust accounting experience

3+ years of experience in Trust Accounting or similar roles.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for Property Agents and Trust Accounts.
