About the job

The Wardsperson job is all about supporting the daily operations of hospital wards by providing essential non-clinical assistance to healthcare professionals. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients, enhancing their care and the efficiency of staff. You'll be responsible for

🚶‍♂️

Transporting patients

Safely transport patients to and from various departments within the hospital while assisting with mobility and positioning as needed.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals

Work closely with nursing staff, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and respond promptly to requests.

Assisting with mortuary duties

Assist with the transfer of deceased from wards and liaise with funeral homes and other external agencies.
