The Aboriginal Wellbeing Worker plays a vital role in the Help aHead Caringbah team, providing culturally safe and person-led support to individuals experiencing mental health distress. You'll be responsible for

Building partnerships

Building culturally safe partnerships with Aboriginal people accessing the service.

Coordinating care

Working as part of the multidisciplinary Help aHead team to provide coordinated care.

Providing guidance

Providing Aboriginal cultural knowledge, guidance, and advocacy to consumers and the Help aHead team.

Key criteria

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identification

Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, actively engaged in community.

Qualifications in mental health or community services

Holds a minimum Certificate IV in relevant disciplines.
