Supporting cultural heritage assessments
Undertaking and contributing to Aboriginal cultural heritage assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and statutory guidelines.📝
Contributing to conservation management plans
Supporting non-Aboriginal archaeological assessments and contributing to the preparation of conservation management plans.💡
Providing specialist advice
Providing specialist advice and support in historic archaeology to heritage advisors within the HEP team as required.Key criteria

Tertiary qualification in archaeology
Possession of an appropriate degree in archaeology or equivalent discipline.View

Experience in cultural heritage assessments
Demonstrated experience in Aboriginal and historical archaeological assessments.View

Current NSW driver's licence
Valid licence required for travel to regional and remote areas.View
