You'll be responsible for

Conducting inspections
Ensuring compliance with the Building Act 1993 and Building Regulations 2018.⚖️
Investigating complaints
Addressing unsafe building works and taking appropriate enforcement action.📝
Supporting the Municipal Building Surveyor
Assisting with report and consent applications and writing legal briefs.Key criteria

Registered Building Practitioner
Possession of a valid registration as a Building Inspector.View

Building Act and Regulations knowledge
Strong working knowledge of relevant building laws and standards.View
