An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Nurse to join the dynamic Neurology multidisciplinary team, providing specialist care for patients living with Parkinson’s disease. This job is crucial in delivering advanced clinical expertise and leadership, ensuring the best possible care for patients. The team thrives on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to creating a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

You'll be responsible for

Providing specialist nursing knowledge

Delivering specialist nursing knowledge and advice related to the clinical care of patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Coordinating outpatient services

Coordinating the weekly Parkinson’s MDT outpatient service, including initiation and management of complex Parkinson’s therapies.

Promoting quality improvement

Promoting quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice to support optimal patient outcomes.

Current AHPRA registration

Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

3+ years clinical experience

Experience in a clinical area related to post-graduate qualifications
