As a Counsellor within the Violence, Abuse and Neglect Service, you will provide vital support through trauma-informed crisis intervention and counselling. You'll be responsible for

Delivering crisis assessment and counselling interventions
Providing immediate support and counselling to individuals affected by domestic violence.🗣️
Participating in Domestic Violence Safety Action Meetings
Engaging in collaborative meetings to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients.📋
Maintaining accurate records
Keeping detailed records to contribute to service improvement and client care.Key criteria
🎓
Relevant degree qualification
Australian recognised degree in Social Work or Psychology is essential.View

Trauma-informed counselling experience
Experience providing trauma-informed crisis intervention is crucial.View
