The Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer position is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong security professional to join a dynamic team in Brisbane. This high-impact job focuses on leading pre-sales engagements and architecting tailored cybersecurity solutions that drive revenue growth and customer success. Collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Vendor partners is key, as well as the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear business value.

You'll be responsible for

Leading technical engagements

Lead discovery sessions to understand client security posture, risk profile, and strategic objectives while providing expert-level technical pre-sales support throughout the sales lifecycle.
🛠️

Designing cybersecurity solutions

Design comprehensive cybersecurity solutions across various domains including SIEM, MDR, EDR, XDR, DLP, SASE, firewalls, and threat intelligence.
🤝

Building client relationships

Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, acting as the primary technical advisor for key accounts.

Key criteria

🔒

3–5+ years in cybersecurity pre-sales

Experience in client-facing engineering roles is essential.

Strong knowledge of MDR, EDR, DLP, SASE, and threat intelligence.
