About the job

The Data & AI Community Lead job is all about fostering a vibrant data culture within the AUSPAC division. By promoting consistent and compliant data practices, this position plays a crucial role in driving QSight adoption and engaging key data communities. Collaboration and meaningful engagement are at the heart of how the team operates, ensuring everyone feels connected and empowered.

You'll be responsible for

Developing and implementing a community engagement strategy

Develop and implement a data & AI community engagement strategy aligned with broader D&A priorities, defining objectives, engagement streams, and success metrics in collaboration with SMEs and stakeholders.

Leading community engagement initiatives

Lead engagement with key community groups such as federated insights teams, data stewards, and data platform users, executing a calendar of initiatives like campaigns, hackathons, and lunch & learns.

Ensuring alignment with data governance

Ensure all community content and communications align with data governance and platform standards, supporting the standardisation of data practices and tool usage across teams.

Skills you'll need

Stakeholder engagement

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, change management, data & AI adoption, or capability development within large, federated and/or regulated organisations.

Data literacy

Solid understanding of data literacy, governance frameworks, federated data models, and stewardship practices.

Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with experience leading engagement campaigns and community initiatives.
