You'll be responsible for

Acting as first point of contact

Provide advice to customers regarding Council’s Planning Scheme and related policies, ensuring a positive experience.

Accepting and inputting applications

Check information and calculate fees for applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Maintaining self-help tools

Keep the website and information sheets updated to assist customers in navigating planning processes.

Skills you'll need

🚗

Current QLD Class C Driver's Licence

A valid driver's licence is essential for this job, enabling travel for site visits and meetings.

2 years relevant experience

Demonstrated experience in a similar field is crucial for providing effective planning and development advice.

Proven knowledge in interpreting legislation

Ability to understand and apply relevant planning and development legislation is key to success in this job.
