You'll be responsible for

Managing patient records
Ensuring the appropriate management of patient records and that data is collected, collated and managed in line with site, state and federal legislative requirements.🩺
Coding inpatient episodes
Accurately and timely coding of inpatient episodes using ICD-10-AM and ACHI classifications across a varied and complex casemix.🤝
Demonstrating interpersonal skills
Constantly demonstrating courtesy and sensitivity when dealing with patients, the public, and fellow team members.Key criteria
📜
Bachelor's degree in health information management
Possession of a relevant degree from an approved program.View
🧑⚕️
ICD-10-AM and ACHI knowledge
Sound understanding of coding standards and classifications.View

Auditing experience
Demonstrated experience in auditing is highly desirable.View
