Heidelberg Materials Australia is excited to offer an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join the aggregates team at our NATA Accredited Laboratory in Brandy Hill Quarry, located in the Hunter region of NSW. This job is not your typical lab role; you will be actively involved in fieldwork, sampling, and testing, while also working within the laboratory. The team values self-motivation, excellent communication, and a strong work ethic, creating a supportive and dynamic work environment.
You'll be responsible for
🧪
Performing quarry material testing
Conducting tests on aggregate and soil to ensure quality and compliance.⚙️
Carrying out equipment calibrations
Ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.✅
Maintaining Laboratory NATA requirements
Ensuring compliance with National Association of Testing Authorities standards.Key criteria
🔬
Laboratory technician experience
Demonstrated experience working as a Laboratory Technician in relevant settings.View
📊
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Proven ability in written and verbal communication and numerical tasks.View
🚗
Current driver’s licence
Valid driver’s licence for site access and transportation needs.View
