You'll be responsible for

Managing litigation caseload

Overseeing a large caseload of merits review and judicial review matters, ensuring effective case management.

Conducting solicitor advocacy

Engaging in solicitor advocacy at interlocutory processes, final hearings, and appeals.

Providing legal advice

Offering strategic legal advice on administrative law issues to clients, ensuring compliance and effective decision-making.

Skills you'll need

📚

Public and administrative law knowledge

Understanding of public and administrative law principles and practices, particularly in relation to government litigation.
⚖️

Litigation experience

Experience in conducting litigation for government, particularly in federal courts and tribunals.

Technical and drafting skills

Ability to produce high-quality legal documents and correspondence with great attention to detail.
