This job is about joining the Information Release team in Legal Services, where you will manage the Department's legislative obligations regarding document provision. You'll be responsible for

Performing functions as the Department's delegated decision maker

Making decisions on applications under the Right to Information Act, Information Privacy Act, and Freedom of Information Act.

Processing requests and ensuring compliance

Managing court ordered requests and other legislative requests for information served on the Director-General.

Providing legal advice and assistance

Offering guidance to department employees regarding legislative requirements and privacy compliance.
