This job is about providing holistic spiritual, pastoral, and emotional support to residents in an aged care community. Making a meaningful impact on the lives of residents, their families, and staff is at the heart of this role. You'll be responsible for

Delivering personalised spiritual and pastoral care

Provide spiritual and pastoral care in line with individual care plans.

Facilitating group spiritual and lifestyle activities

Coordinate and facilitate group activities that promote spiritual wellbeing.

Offering bereavement support

Provide emotional support to residents, families, and staff during times of grief.

Skills you'll need

🧑‍⚕️

Experience in lifestyle or pastoral care

Minimum one year’s experience in a lifestyle or pastoral care job, preferably in aged care.
📜

Qualifications in spiritual/pastoral care

Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle and/or qualifications in spiritual/pastoral care.
🗣️

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to build trusted relationships with residents, families, and staff.
